Do you have a child with a physical or developmental disability? Are they 18 years of age or under? Do they need help with mobility equipment, an environmental modification or therapy?
If you're curious about how animals on farms are sometimes treated or about what goes on in some animal testing labs, then you need our PETA Kids comic books. This month, PETA is giving away a four-pack of comics, including A Rat's Life, A Chicken's Life, A Cow's Life, and An Elephant's Life.
You'll learn everything from how some circuses get their animal performers to how some farmers get their chickens to grow so large. And when you're all done reading, be sure to share the comics with your friends!
Just fill out the form to receive your FREE set of four PETA Kids comic books.

Free Summer Swim
Every summer Tim Horton's owners sponsor free swimming times at community pools in Ontario.
We're off to Omemee Pioneer Days and then the Peterborough Summer Festival of Lights tonight!
Free Festival Concerts are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Del Crary Park in downtown Peterborough (see map for location) until August 22.
Concerts begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is free so arrive early with a picnic supper if you want to get parking. Take a lawn chair or rent one for $3.00 (limited number available to rent). You can also get special "VIP" seats in front of the stage! (check out the Friends of the Festival section for information.) Last year there were fire=works and an illuminated boat show after the Saturday concerts. I hope they still have this on.
Check list of things to take: picnic, bug spray, lawn chairs, jacket (it can get cool by the water), kleenex, camera, dollar store glo sticks, socks for the bouncy castle.
Call Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism at (705) 742-2201 or 1-800-461-6424 to confirm the concert schedule (any TBA's and schedule changes).
