The IKEA $1000 Gift Card Giveaway is open to adult resident of Canada except Quebec - sorry. This Giveaway is short-lived so the odds are terrific. It started June 12 and ends June 30 - why they are running it over such a short time span baffles me, but hey it's a fab prize!

Canadian Home Owners Giveaway Wins Silver Star Rating
Canadian Home Owners, a business helping Canadian Homeowner sell their own homes is based in Durham, Ontario. They have been hosting a giveaway about once a month offering prizes that appeal to homeowners. This giveaway would be a Gold star rating, except it is not open to residents of Quebec, which requires special application be made to the organization regulating Quebec giveaways, and requires a longer time lead.
Sharing tip for more entries:When you choose to share the link on twitter, you will notice it is hashtagged as a contest, rather than a giveaway, which would bring more readers on Twitter. When you share your entry on twitter, you may wish to adjust the hashtag to #Giveaway.
With a prize as large as this one, I am surprised to find it being such a short time frame - less than a month - almost short enough to be classified as a Flash giveaway. Usually a prize of this size would have at least a 3 month window for entries. The odds on this giveaway for entrants are really good, but the ROI for the company could be better. This is just my 2 cents worth, though what do you think?
