PICTURE PIONEERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Scholarship Open to: Legal residents of Canada, 27 years of age and under (as of December 30, 2011), currently enrolled in full time studies at a post-secondary institution (or will be as of January 16, 2012), and who currently work or have worked in the film industry for a minimum of 3 months, within the past 6 months, or are a child/grandchild of an individual who currently works or who has worked in the film industry in the past 6 months (or has retired from a career in the film industry) are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Essay
250-500 words - tell the judges about yourself, how the scholarship money will benefit you, and how your life and education will benefit society.  Please include details of your need for financial assistance.

Scholarships:
Fourteen (14) scholarships will be awarded.
·         One (1) $5,000.00 scholarship
·         Three (3) $2,500.00 scholarships
·         Ten (10) $1000.00 scholarships
