How to Find Free Food - Gleaning

Gardeners, farmers and even public spaces can find themselves over run with produce that will spoil if it isn't harvested, or the fields have been harvested and some produce is still hanging on the vines.
Ask the food owner if they would like a hand harvesting the rest of the food . Try making a proposal like Operation Fruit Rescue Edmonton: 1/3 for the owner, 1/3 for the food bank, 1/3 for yourself. . Take some friends and hold an old fashioned harvesting bee!
