The Scotia Moneyback Account Offers 1% Cashback gives you 1% cash back on purchases, up to $300 per year, but you would need to spend 14.95 x 100 = $1,495.00 with your debit card each month to recoup the monthly handling charges, before you realize any real cash back. Since you need to keep the account open till Sept. 30, you will need to spend six times that to recoup your handling fees. If you generally spend $1500 using your debit card each month,then at the end of 6 months, you will have $100 bonus plus $3 cash back. The scotia One account,on the other hand is a totally different kettle of fish.

Scotia One Account Gives FREEBIES!

Scotia One Account has no monthly charges if you keep a minimum daily balance of $3,000 PLUS you get enough Scene points to watch a free movie for every $5 you spend using your debit card for the account.the only sticking point I could see here might be possible lost interest on the $3,000. I tried to find info on their site about the interest you would receive on Scotia One balances on their site,but could not find it. Scene points are great for more than movies too!
