BC Lions Special People Helping Special Needs Kids!
Do you know a family with a child who has special needs? Please pass this info on to them.
BC Lions Patient Care Grants help families with children who have special needs in BC, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Families of children with disabilities frequently face extremely high costs, not covered by other medical plans. My brother was born with quadriplegia, so I know first hand, how important grants of this type are to families.
British Columbia Lions Society for Children With Disabilities, a registered charitable organization since 1947, is dedicated to enriching the lives of children with disabilities.
Lions clubs across Canada and around the world, fund a variety of programs to help others with special needs.
Some programs from BC Lions include:
- Patient Care Grants to help with costs for therapeutic equipment and prosthetics as well as transportation and accommodation to Easter Seals House.

- Easter Seals Houses
- Easter Seals Buses
- Patient Care Grants
- BC Lions Society Bursaries & Awards
- BC Lions Society Laser Skin Care Centre
- BC Lions Society VGH Helipad
- Child Development Centres
