All application forms, reference letters and proof of enrollment letters will be sent directly toscholarships@eco.ca by May 16, 2011.
Step 1: Complete the scholarship application form
Download the application form (PDF).
Step 2: Submit a short essay
Write a short essay (400 words) telling us:
1. Your environmental values and experiences
2. How you have demonstrated environmental leadership in your community, region, or country
3. How you plan to pursue your passion in the environment through future post secondary study
Step 3: Arrange for a reference letter
The reference letter will:
- Be from someone who is familiar with you and your environmental interests or work.
- Be no more than one-page
- Be written by a mentor or teacher –not from your parent or legal guardian.
- Describe your relationship with this person and why they believe you are a strong leader and thus a strong candidate for an ECO Canada Scholarship.
- Be emailed by your mentor or teacher directly to scholarships@eco.ca.
Email us a letter from your post secondary institute indicating that you have enrolled in an environmental program for fall 2011.
