Calypso legend The Mighty Shadow and Jamaican icons Tony Rebel and Leroy Sibbles are complemented by a rare performance from Jamaica's Charles Town Maroons dance and music group. Saint Lucian cuisine demos from Saint Lucian Chef Richardson Skinner and a Jerk Jamboree Competition heat up the culinary palette. Then the B. George Blake and Kalalu Folklore Theatre create a performance celebrating Ontario's first officially recognized Emancipation Day.

As with its distant cousins the native Teepee and the Igloo, the Ice Fishing Hut has its own essential purpose. It must be weather resistant and transportable, giving basic shelter and access to the ground beneath it. The 24 beautiful images in this remarkable exhibition are a wonder to behold.
